WHY THIS AUDIO TECHNICA ATLP3BT IS A GREAT VALUE,,,, It is fully automatic. Push the start button which is located on the front, not under the dust cover like some turntables, and the arm lifts, goes over to the record, gently floats down, plays the record, lefts, returns to rest and shuts off.
It has a very high quality, low mass tonearm with low friction for a low price turntable
It has a detachable head shell which allows easy cleaning of stylus, easy replacement and easy cartridge upgrade
It has a counter balanced arm which allows different cartridges to be used to upgrade, as in very expensive turntables
If you do not have a built-in direct phono input, this turntable has a built-in phono stage preamp allowing connection to a line level in put like CD, VCR or tape etc
It has built-in. Bluetooth to wireless send the music to bluetooth headphones. So, you can listen without an amp or receiver
Full auto does not degrade the sound whatsoever
People not used to playing record don 't realize at the end of the record a manual turntable goes click click click clci and cn drive you crazy
